For your topic activity today we would like you to learn about gravity!
Why do you land on the ground when you jump up instead of floating off into space?
Gravity is an invisible force that pulls objects toward each other. Earth's gravity is what keeps you on the ground and what makes things fall.
We have included a link to a video of an astronaut trying to brush his teeth in space. What would happen if you let go of your toothbrush when brushing your teeth?
Once you have watched the video we would like you to set up an experiment to explore gravity. You could set up a ramp and roll a ball or object down the ramp. Does the ball always roll down the ramp?
We would love to see your photographs/videos.
