We value the relationship between home and school and enjoy working in partnership with our parents. In seeking to build a supportive dialogue we provide many opportunities for parents to communicate with school and we are always interested in hearing what parents have to say about children’s learning or about any aspect of our work in school.
Our parents are very supportive of the school. This generous interest and support takes many forms for example, working alongside us in school to support teaching and learning, accompanying classes on educational outings, speaking to classes about their work or hobbies, reading with children and organising and attending school events and fundraising functions. Parents value education and show a very positive interest in what their children are learning and in how they are progressing in school as well as providing good support for learning at home.
A hard-working and creative PTFA gives very generous support to the school through its many fundraising events. All parents and friends are automatically members of the PTFA and as such are welcome to attend all meetings. Social, educational and fundraising events take place throughout the year.
